The William J. Riley Memorial Residence

 

Not everyone has a place to call home in the final period of life. They may not have family or friends who can help them maintain the independence they would like. They may be alone.

 

The William J. Riley Memorial Residence is open to persons who desire hospice services, but are unable to remain at home safely. This eight-bedroom home provides the assistance and care needed for persons with life-limiting illnesses who want to live out their remaining time in a home-like environment.

 

Hospice of the Calumet Area’s professional nurses, social workers, hospice aides and pastoral counselors, as well as our volunteers, provide services in this home to make the final period of life comfortable, dignified and peaceful.

 

We’re proud to provide services at the residence regardless of ability to pay – thanks to the generous contributions of our donors.
