Home Health Aide/CNAs
Department: Clinical Team
Hospice of the Calumet Area is seeking dedicated, compassionate full-time field Hospice Aide (CNAs) to join our team.
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of CNA experience required.

Home care or hospice experience preferred.

Must be listed on both the Indiana/Illinois CNA Registry.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (Weekend rotation required).

Hospice Aide/CNA - Inpatient hospice
Department: Clinical Team
Hospice of the Calumet Area has a full-time Hospice Aide position open at our 8-bed inpatient hospice facility, the William J. Riley Memorial Residence.
Excellent opportunity for an experienced hospice aide/CNA to provide quality, compassionate care in a low patient ratio setting.

Qualifications

One year HHA/CNA required.

Must be on the Indiana CNA Registry

Schedule: Monday-3-12 p.m. hour shifts/week, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. rotating every other weekend.

Excellent benefit package included. PRN positions are also available at the inpatient facility and in the field (patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities).

Full Time Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement (QAPI) Coordinator
Responsible for the overall management of Hospice of the Calumet Area’s comprehensive performance improvement program and ensuring compliance with all agency and regulatory standards; maintaining quality measures and timely submission of required CMS data, including the new Hospice Hope.
Individual also serves as the Corporate Compliance Officer and oversee the maintenance and evaluation of the Corporate Compliance program.
Minimum of 2 years progressively responsible administrative healthcare work including compliance issues; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related healthcare field preferred; QA/PI and hospice experience preferred.
