Grieving a loss?

Missing a loved one is an indescribable feeling.

Feelings of emptiness, loneliness, confusion and abandonment can become overwhelming. It’s difficult to be prepared for the rush of emotions the grief journey can bring. It’s a walk that can eventually bring peace and hope, but it must be done alone.

Each of us experiences grief in our own way and at our own pace. Even if you’ve experienced a loss before, do not expect your feelings or healing process to be the same each time. Grief is really centered around love.

Through our extensive bereavement programs, Hospice of the Calumet Area offers expert support.

Our programs include our “Healing Hearts” grief support groups for children, teens and adults.
