Hospice of the Calumet Area partners with Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance providers to coordinate services and benefits for patients.  Medicare and Medicaid provide hospice coverage for their members, and many insurance groups have some type of hospice coverage as well.

Hospice will file all claims directly so that families are not burdened with more paperwork during an already stressful time in their lives.  The same level of service is provided to all of our patients and families regardless of payment resources, and financial assistance is available for those without insurance or who have insufficient coverage.

We understand that this is a difficult time for families and want to assist where possible so that the financial aspect of our care need not cause additional worries.
