Emotional and Spiritual Counseling

Support services are provided to the patient, family and friends during and after hospice care.

Hospice social workers work with the patient and family regarding end-of-life issues such as anticipatory grief, factors complicating bereavement, or the special needs of children and others.

Our pastoral care staff is available for those who desire spiritual care and counseling.  Their ministry of “compassionate presence” helps to make the final period of life dignified and peaceful.

Patient companion volunteers are specially trained and available to provide caregiver respite.
