Our Care to Share Dinners, now in their fifth year, are seasonal dinner/cooking demonstrations featuring area chefs.  They are now held in the Centennial Park Ballroom at Centennial Park in Munster.

 

Tickets must be purchased at Care to Share Gifts, at the Hospice of the Calumet Area office or by calling Chris Dow at 219-922-2732.

Care to Share Volunteer

 

Volunteer opportunities are available at Care to Share Gifts, 1842 B 45^th Street in Munster.  Retail experience, cleaning abilities or secretarial skills are desired but not necessary to work in this fun and friendly environment.

 

 

Care to Share Gifts is a donation/consignment shop whose proceeds benefit the non-profit agency, Hospice of the Calumet Area.  With the exception of a part-time manager, the shop is entirely run by volunteers.

Description: Both men and women assist customers with purchases and operate the cash register. During their 3 1/2 hour shifts, volunteers also handle inventory displays, light housekeeping duties and other tasks assigned by the shop manager.
