“Hospice Helps Me—Through Literacy and Song!”

 

A celebration of children, hospice education and literacy!

 

Help children learn how to care for a “very, very, very ill” loved one, whether it’s a relative, pet or friend.  Help children deal with grief.  Introduce them to light-hearted, age-appropriate lessons, songs and stories about the people they love, about teamwork and participation in caring for others.

Former Chicago Benny the Bull mascot and professional storyteller Dan LeMonnier’s program is exceptional!

 

It’s called “The Healing Art of Storytelling: What Is In Your Heart?”  Dan will visit your school, hospital or library with “Hospice Helps Me” books and Daisy the Hospice Hound stuffed animals in hand.

 

What a great way to promote literacy and reinforce gentle life lessons with a book to enjoy and a dog to love.
